Our telehealth treatment programs
Kolmac combines evidence-based therapies, substance use intensive outpatient treatment, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and peer support through live video sessions.
Here are our telehealth addiction treatment programs:
Sessions run three to four days per week, with morning, afternoon, and evening options so you can continue working or caring for family.
Treatment addresses alcohol use disorder, opioid and painkiller dependence, and other substance use disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies.
Most major insurance plans are accepted. Check your insurance coverage now.
If you need more support than weekly therapy but do not require inpatient care, this program fills that gap.
Telehealth IOP treatment includes group process sessions, individual therapy, and psychiatric evaluation, all conducted through secure video. Our clinical team creates individualized treatment plans focused on stabilization, coping skills, and long-term resilience.
Virtual sessions make it easier for teens to engage with treatment on their own terms, without the disruption of leaving school or navigating transportation. Parents and families are involved through family sessions and regular updates.

Who is telehealth treatment right for?
Virtual treatment at Kolmac is a good fit for adults and adolescents who need structured clinical care but cannot attend in person. Common situations include:
- Working professionals who cannot take extended time away from their jobs.
- Parents or caregivers with responsibilities that make travel to a clinic difficult.
- Individuals in areas without a nearby Kolmac location.
- Teens who would benefit from treatment without disrupting their school schedule.
- People who have completed residential or inpatient treatment and need a step-down program.
- Families or medical providers exploring options, but unsure which level of care is the right fit (our team can help determine that through a virtual evaluation).
A 2023 federal study by the National Institute on Drug Abuse found that telehealth improves access to addiction treatment and increases retention in care, making recovery possible for more people.

According to a 2022 study in the Journal of Substance Use and Addiction Treatment, telehealth treatment for substance use disorders is as effective as traditional in-person services. You don’t have to sacrifice in-depth support for convenience.
