At Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health, we provide evidence-based outpatient mental health treatment for adults struggling with moderate mental health symptoms that interfere with everyday life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or mood disorders, our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers structured support in a flexible, community-based setting.

Program Goals

The Mental Health IOP at Kolmac focuses on helping patients:

  • Stabilize and manage mental health symptoms such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or mood swings

  • Improve emotional regulation and build effective coping strategies

  • Avoid psychiatric hospitalization or receive continued support following a recent discharge

  • Enhance daily functioning in key areas such as home life, work, school, and relationships

  • Engage in meaningful recovery through self-awareness, peer connection, and goal setting

By focusing on sustainable progress, we help patients reclaim their independence and well-being without needing to leave their community or disrupt their routines.

Who We Treat

Our outpatient mental health program is designed for:

  • Adults 18 and older

  • Individuals with a diagnosed mental health disorder such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or bipolar disorder

  • Patients experiencing moderate severity symptoms that interfere with functioning

  • Those who are medically stable and able to participate in group therapy

We welcome individuals stepping down from inpatient care, as well as those who need more support than weekly therapy sessions can provide.

Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities

Kolmac’s mental health clinicians use a combination of therapeutic approaches to address the unique needs of each patient. Our core clinical modalities include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and restructuring harmful thought patterns and behaviors

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills: Mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping patients live in alignment with their values, even in the face of distress

  • Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering approach for those with trauma histories

  • Motivational Interviewing: Encouraging behavior change by exploring ambivalence and strengthening motivation

Each patient’s treatment plan includes a customized blend of these strategies, depending on their clinical goals.

A Continuum of Care for Mental Wellness

Kolmac’s mental health services are part of a broader continuum of behavioral healthcare. We work closely with patients, families, and referring providers to ensure seamless transitions between care levels. Whether you’re stepping down from an inpatient stay or looking to avoid hospitalization altogether, Kolmac offers a safe and effective path toward recovery.
