Achieving lasting sobriety and giving back to others
Jen describes her addiction struggles as “walking off of a cliff.” She began using drugs and alcohol in her teen years and her whole life changed.
Although she knew that she needed help, Jen was afraid to start treatment. After some close friends approached her parents, Jen finally began inpatient treatment followed by an outpatient program. Despite early struggles with abstinence, she has been sober since 1997.
Today, Jen is the Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of Operations at Kolmac. She is grateful not only for her sobriety, but for her ability to help other women and men begin the lifelong journey of recovery.
