Take the next step and get help for addiction
It’s not easy to admit that you need to get help for addiction. However, taking this first step can be life changing. When you’re ready to start your recovery journey and get treatment, the team at Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers is here to guide you. We have been helping women and men recover from addiction for more than 45 years, so you can be confident that you’ll be in caring and capable hands.
How do I get help for addiction at Kolmac?
After admitting that you have a problem, the next step to get help for addiction is to call Kolmac. While other centers have wait-lists, we can start providing intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment within 24 hours of your first call. Our team is ready to help you as soon as you’re ready to begin treatment with us.
When you call, you’ll speak with a friendly and knowledgeable team member. This person will collect information and ask questions to learn more about your addiction and how it’s affecting your life. They will also ask about your insurance coverage. To make treatment more affordable, Kolmac accepts plans from most major insurance companies.
After your call, you’ll be scheduled to start treatment as soon as the next day at one of our convenient center locations.
What can I expect when I start treatment at Kolmac?
Treatment at Kolmac involves several phases, including detoxification, IOP and continuing care. If you need it, you will begin treatment with detox. Our caring and highly trained medical staff will help you safely and comfortably detox in an outpatient setting. Most patients stay for five to eight hours on the first day. Our priority is to immediately treat your withdrawal symptoms to make you as comfortable as possible. This will allow you to focus on your recovery.
Next, you will begin IOP, which consists of daily group therapy and education sessions that last three hours. Your counselor will slowly taper the frequency of these sessions as your condition stabilizes. To provide comprehensive and personalized care, we will also schedule individual treatment sessions and family support groups during this time.
When you reach the continuing care phase, you will attend two hours of group therapy once a week. This includes monthly education about recovery. The length of this phase of treatment varies, depending on your unique needs.
Throughout your time with Kolmac, you can expect to receive life-changing and compassionate care. Our team of addiction specialists will treat you with kindness, understanding and respect – because that’s what you deserve.
