Kolmac is set to open its newest location in downtown Baltimore on October 24, 2011. The Baltimore office will run an evening IOP program, Continuing Care groups, and, as in the other offices, will have psychiatric staff available to treat co-occurring mental health conditions. |

Elmore Briggs acted as a panel member at the United States Sentencing Commission’s public hearing on proposed amendments to sentencing guidelines. The tobacco cessation program Nixing Nicotine is now being offered for free to Kolmac patients in the Silver Spring office. The program meets for 90 minutes once a week, for 8 weeks. Free quit smoking aides are included for those enrolled in the program. |

Kolmac Clinic was the only addiction treatment program named by The Washingtonian magazine in the July 2009 article on top therapists in the Washington area. The designation was made based on a survey of area psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, therapists and counselors. |
